John Allott – Chair of Governors
John’s background is in social care. Initially working for Wakefield Council as a social worker and social work manager, he subsequently became self-employed and is presently the Managing Partner of a dementia and mental health care facility.
He is a Director of Leeds Care Association and the dementia representative on the Leeds Dementia Partnership.
John's other interests include education (he is a governor at two local schools), community development (he is a Director of Eastmoor Community Project) and sport (he is an active Director at Wakefield Trinity and an original member of Huddersfield Town Blue and White Foundation).
John welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the work of Pinders Primary which he sees as a genuine community school, striving hard in every way to achieve the very best possible outcomes for our local children and their families.
