Food Cart
The French Food Cart is open on a Wednesday and Friday break time for LKS2 and UKS2. It is manned and organised by the French Ambassadors. Children visiting the cart are spoken to in French and taught how to reply in order to order items from the cart. The cart offers the following foods and drinks:
- brioche
- croissant
- pain au chocolat
- crêpes au caramel
- jus d'orange
- jus de pomme
- du fromage
Language expectation
Year 3 - name of food pronounced correctly
- bonjour
Year 4 - name of food pronounced correctly
- use of s'il vous plaît (please) and merci (thank you)
Year 5 - Je voudrais and items (with please and thank you)
- use of s'il vous plaît (please) and merci (thank you)
- greeting and answer ça-va?
Year 6 - All of the above plus use of modifiers and or adjectives used correctly.
