Neil Hardwick - Co-opted Governor

Neil Hardwick - Co-opted Governor

I have lived in Wakefield all my life (making the big move from Wrenthorpe to Outwood in the early nineties), attending Junior and Infants as a child.I currently work for the council as a Finance Manager and in my spare time play golf and manage a local junior football team.

I have two boys, the eldest is Tom who is 18 and in his first year at Huddersfield University and his brother James, aged 16 is just about to start an Accountancy Apprenticeship in the next couple of weeks, both went
to Ledger Lane School in Outwood. The support they received at school was essential in ensuring that they reach their potential and make the most of their abilities.

Consequently, when I was asked to be a governor I was excited and happy to do anything I can to support the school, and it will provide me with the opportunity to see all the work that goes on to make sure that all
of the children get the chance to meet their potential.
