Star Writer
In Year 4 we take pride in our work and presentation. Each week we choose three pieces of work to go on our star writers display in the classroom. Is your work there this week? Each half term we choose one piece of work to go on the schoolwide star writers outside Mrs Baines' office.
Last half term we chose Hussam for developing his 'Writers Voice'.
In Spring 1, we chose Uman for the effort he has put into all his English work.
In Autumn 2, we chose Faith for her introduction to a story about Stig of the Dump.
In Autumn 1 we chose Ruby for her diary entry.
Attendance
Well done to the above pupils for having 100% attendance during Spring 2!

Homework
We set one piece of Maths and one piece of English homework on a Friday. We aim to return this for the following Wednesday, so we have one day as a second chance if we forget it. If you have lost your homework speak to an adult for another copy!
We take out home reading books home everyday, and aim to change them at least once a week.
Each week we learn a list of spellings to be tested the following week. Here are the spellings for this half term:
PE:
Children in Year 5 go Swimming on Thursday afternoons and have PE lessons on Monday afternoons - remember to bring your kit!
